At S.H.E. – Southern Hospitality Eats, we are deeply committed to creating a warm, inclusive, and accessible digital experience for all our guests. Jeneen’s love for community and hospitality drives every part of our business—including the design of our website. We believe everyone should be able to access and enjoy the food, stories, and service we offer, regardless of ability.

Accessibility Adjustments on This Site
We have adapted our site in accordance with WCAG 2.1 guidelines and have made efforts to meet Level AA compliance. To help identify and fix accessibility issues, we used the WIX Accessibility Wizard, and our site was developed with readability, clarity, and functionality in mind.


Accessibility adjustments include:

  • Setting the language of the site

  • Structuring content in a logical order for screen readers

  • Adding alt text to images and visual elements

  • Defining clear heading structures across pages

  • Applying color contrast combinations that meet accessibility standards

  • Reducing use of motion and animation for visual comfort

  • Ensuring buttons, forms, and navigation are keyboard accessible

  • Designing with functional layouts for ease of use

  • Using descriptive assistive labels for interactive elements
